MIMS is a student-run group formally supported by the UGME clinical skills department which organizes weekly simulation based learning sessions. Each one hour interactive session is facilitated by a resident or staff presenter and moderated by the medical student organizers.

Our Mission
Learning Internal Medicine through Simulation Together
The MIMS mission is two-fold:
To help medical students develop excellent information gathering skills and broad differential diagnoses through simulated patient encounters.
To help medical students solidify the art of medicine including oral presentation skills, clinical reasoning and working under pressure.
